David Zidlick?
Born in Brno in the autumn of 1976, he got his hands on his first camera in 1989. First, it was granddad's Zeiss Ikon, made in 1936, then later the famous Pentagon-Six.

 

1991 - Begins studying at Secondary Schools of Arts and Crafts in the field of applied photography.

1992 - First independent exhibition.

1993 - Discovers the undying magic of Czech air-cooled, aerodynamic Tatra cars, and becomes a great devotee

1994 - Co-founder of "Paralaxa" - the photographic club for two-lensed friends of wild reflex cameras. Owns at least six Flexaret cameras.

1995 - Interrupts his studies at the Film and Television Faculty at the Academy of the Performing Arts, visits Paris and doesn't put his Flexaret down in his spare time.

1996 - Begins making a living as a photographer.

1997 - Uses a 1957 Rolleiflex two-lens reflex camera. Drives a black Tatra 613 car.

1998 - Becomes aware of the important motto "Don't panic", and begins living by it.

1999 - Contributes to the birth of Galerie 19:30...
