He was born in Prague in 1970. He started his photo activities in 1993 on a weekend he was spending in Etretat. After the initial period of classical documentary photograph ("Les Lieux de Passage", 1993/95) and short studies of photography (1995/96), the centre of his work moved towards a considerably subjective creativity ("A few notes about the summer", 1997). If at the beginning his interest was concentrated on black-and-white photograph only, then since 1997 he has started to experiment with ways of catching and printing images new for him (polaroids, digital printing and photographs, 8 mm film...), always putting an emphasis on the "cheapness" of the materials used and using the world that surrounds him as a source of inspiration.
